We have a special speaker at the next annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Ottawa-Vanier Greens held this Thursday the 12th. Documentarian and former green party candidate David Chernushenko (http://www.livinglightly.ca/) is a sustainability advocate who explores and communicates ways to create healthy, abundant livelihoods for all citizens. He helps people and organizations prosper by tapping into personal values, creativity and enthusiasm and directing them toward actions that are both practical and fulfilling.
You can come hear David talk about his Living Lightly project at the next Ottawa-Vanier Greens Annual General Meeting:
Thursday February 12th 2009 at 7:00 pm
Sandy Hill Community Center, 250 Somerset E (corner of Nelson)
(Drinks and other goodies will be served.)

- Route #5, #316 and Campus Transitway station within walking distance
- Route #2, #7, #14, #18, #306 within a longer walking distance
We will vote on a new executive. We will also have amendments to propose which will be posted at www.ottawavaniergreens.ca . If you would like to propose amendments then please contact Julien Lamarche, AGM 2009 organizer. Rules of procedures and agenda will also be posted at www.ottawavaniergreens.ca .
Greens who did not renew their membership within the last year can do so for a fee of 10$.
We are looking for new volunteers to join the executive and the steering committee. There are many positions and you will be instrumental in growing the Green movement in Ottawa-Vanier. If you would like to join our team then please contact us.
